Well, I've slowly been getting annoyed with many different types of vampires, especially twilight vampires! So I decided to create my own vampires. Feel free to accept or reject my decisions on what a vampire is and is not.

What they are
1. Vampires have extremely pale skin, hence the weakness to sunlight
2. Vampires don't necessarily need blood they just need the stuff in it, since they cant produce their own.
3. Vampires heal quickly and rarely get sick due to the high amount of the chemical delta 1 in their blood (by the way this chemical actually exists)
4. Very few vampires (nowadays) actually kill people.
5. Vampires commonly converse with humans and each other, but will rarely fall in love and have a family

How vampires are "made"
1. a vampire makes you become a vampire after death
2. an extreme genetic mutation that causes you to die very quickly and become a vampire
3. you are born as a vampire IE. child of 1+ vampire(s)

Weaknesses/how they die
1. Will die of old age but lifetime is 10x longer than that of a normal human
2. severing of the spinal cord at the base of the skull
3. destruction of hart and/or brain
